Last week was pretty rough, we lost a friend to suicide and it left a lot of us asking why. Sean Stevens took his own life on May 13, 2009 at the age of 18. I grew up with Sean and have many childhood memories with Sean and his brothers. He is one of four boys, his older brother was killed a year and a half ago in a car accident and now Sean (the baby of the bunch) has gone to join his brother Jason. We wonder why, and we'll never know, but we know he isn't hurting anymore, that he's safe and he's been reunited with his older brother. I will always remember Sean as the little boy with a baby face and dimpled smile that could light up a room. I just keep replaying my entire childhood, swimming, bringing Barbies over to your house when your mom baby-sat me, playing in the dirt at the ball fields, there's just so many. I love you Sean and miss you everyday. It's still hard to believe you're really gone, but I know you and Jason are watching over us all. You'll never be forgotten, Rest In Peace Seany!
This weekend we have been pretty busy. Yesterday I cleaned me and Andrews bedroom from floor to ceiling and washed all of our bedding and curtains. Today I washed my Jeep inside and out, got all the laundry caught up, mowed the yard, and we have been working on getting the pool ready for Summer. As usual the weekend flew by, but I did accomplish a lot! Go me! I also want to send a shout out to my friend Ashley and say Congrats on your new job! She will be starting June 1st as a full-time Teller at Integra Bank! Way to go Ashley! In School news, only a couple more weeks until summer school starts, boo!! I'm so ready to be done! December can't come fast enough. I have been thinking and I would really like to go to beauty school once I receive my business degree and get my cosmetology license. I've always loved that sort of stuff and have been doing hair anyway for years. Andrew isn't so sure about it, but either am I! One of these days I will decide what I want to be when I grow up! Well I hope everyone has a great week!
